Calicut Calicut or Kozhikode is well known for its beautiful landscape, festival calendar and above all its warm and fun loving local populace. Kozhikode has an important part in the history of Kerala as the Portuguese explorer; Vasco Da Gama had first set foot on its shores at Kappad beach. It was a busy port and a trading hub and was of great strategic importance in the yore.

Wayanad Nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, lies Wayanad, one of the loveliest hill stations in Kerala. The name Wayanad, is believed from the word, Vayal Nadu, meaning the land of paddy fields. Wayanad is one of the biggest foreign exchange earners of the state, thanks to its crops of Pepper, Cardamom, Coffee, Tea, Spices & other condiments.

Coorg If you want to sit back, relax & enjoy a good vacation away from the hustle & bustle of the city, then Coorg is the place for you. Madikeri (at Coorg) gives a rejuvenating feel to those who visit this place, hence attracting a lot of tourists. It is known for its beautiful coffee, tea, and cardamom plantations. It is referred to as the Scotland of India and is said that its scenic beauty dragged the British to this tourist spot nearly 100 years ago.

Bekal is a fantastic place that has a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty, wonderful coastline involving extended stretches of fantastic palm trees, exquisite estuaries and breathtaking back waters.

Kabini was a popular shikaar hotspot for British Viceroys and Indian royalty. Now it is considered to be one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka, famous for its spectacular wildlife and bird life, by the backwaters of the Kabini river, a tributary of cauvery. The most extraordinary aspect of the Kabini area is the presence of a mind blowing 60 sq km of static water, bifurcating the national parks of Nagarhole and Bandipur. The most important attraction of Kabini area is a mind-boggling and single largest congregation of Asiatic elephants and rightly so the area can be called 'Pachyderm Palaces'. The other wildlife here includes barking deer, chital, sambhar, panther, sloth bear, leopard, gaur, antelope, crocodile, tiger, cobra, python and many more.

Mysore is the second biggest city of Karnataka. It is the erstwhile capital of Mysore Maharajas, who ruled Mysore State, from this royal city. Mysore is associated with Pouranic story that is found in the Deva Bhagavatha. According to this story in the mythological Devi Purana, Mysore was ruled by the demon-king Mahishasura (buffalo-headed monster). Goddess Parvati, wife of Lord Shiva, took birth as Chamundi or Chamundeshwari & killed the monster. Hence this place came to be known as Mahishura (i.e. Mysore).

Day 1 :
Arrive Bangalore & meet our representative / driver at the airport / railway station. Later proceed to Mysore (140 kms – 3 hrs drive). En-route visit Srirangapatnam covering Daria Daulat Bagh, Srirangapatnam Fort, Sri Ranganathswami Temple & Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Arrive Mysore & transfer to hotel. Evening visit Brindavan Gardens. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 2 :
After breakfast, local sight-seeing of Mysore covering Chamundi Hills, Bull Temple, Maharaja Palace, Mysore Zoo, Art Gallery & St. Philomena’s Church. Evening free for shopping Mysore Silk Sarees & Sandalwood products. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 3 :
After breakfast, proceed to Bandipur / Kabini – Nagarhole / Madhumalai Wildlife sanctuary (2 to 3 hrs drive). Arrive Bandipur & transfer to hotel. Afternoon enjoy a thrilling experience of open jeep safari / canter safari inside the Wildlife Sanctuary (at your own cost). Evening enjoy resort activities / facilities. Overnight in Bandipur / Kabini / Madhumalai.

Day 4 :
After breakfast, proceed to Coorg (From Kabini, its 120 kms – 3 hrs drive / From Bandipur & Madhumalai, its 170 kms – 4 hrs drive). Arrive Coorg & transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Coorg.

Day 5 :
After early breakfast, visit Kushalnagar for Water Rafting & Dubare Elephant Camp (Elephant Ride & Water Rafting at your cost). Later local sight-seeing of Coorg covering Omkareshwara Temple, Abbi Falls, Tibetan Monastery & Golden Temple. Overnight in Coorg.

Day 6 :
After breakfast, proceed for Mangalore / Bangalore railway station / airport (To Mangalore, its 170 kms – 4 to 5 hrs / To Bangalore, its 240 kms – 5 to 6 hrs drive) to board flight / train for onward destination. Tour concludes with pleasant & everlasting memories…
